Fully renovated in 2025, Wildernest Yosemite blends nature-inspired minimalism with warm, contemporary comfort. Natural textures, quiet colors and a considered layout make it a cozy, connected escape.
It is one of very few private residences remaining inside Yosemite National Park. The home stands alone in the Wawona forest with no immediate neighbors, so the only sounds are birds, wind in the pines and, in spring, the creek.
Three bedrooms, two baths and two living areas, made for gathering — with the deck, the hot tub and the forest beyond as your other rooms. Sleep up to eight, soak beneath the trees, and spend your days in the park instead of in line to reach it.

About 10 minutes inside the park from the South Entrance gate. You're already inside Yosemite when you arrive. Deep in the forest. Exact directions are shared after booking.
Getting here
The last stretch is a private, unpaved forest road — part of what keeps the home so quiet and private. We recommend all-wheel drive, especially in winter and wet months. Heavy snow can limit access; check current road and chain requirements before traveling.
